Dell latitude e5470 keeps shutting down. I can tell it's sleeping properly because the power light is blinking on and off. I would suspect something like a funky power button maybe, or glitchy power management (like the AC adapter gets unplugged and the battery has no capacity so it immediately goes to shut down when it loses AC power) or something like that. I've checked all my power settings and the machine is set to always sleep, never shut down. You will need to address this issue before your processor actually fails due to overheating.
